![]() What they know is that they've worked in the industry and same company (although not in your position) for 25 years and everything must be the way they've been doing it for 25 years or you're doing it wrong. Upper management isn't interested in what you could bring to the table or what worked for you in other companies. Your experience is also minimized because you haven't already been working for the company for 25 years. You don't receive much support or backup from Upper Management when it comes to dealing with union employees, being short staffed and day to day task. ![]() There is no real training program set in place to help you succeed. You learn pretty quick that you don't really have a say or an opinion and that disagreeing with upper management is a sure way to be put on their hit list. Really soon, you start to realize how worthless upper management makes you feel. You hear the name "Signature Room" and think of some big corporate company with their I's dotted and T's crossed so you're excited about interviewing and getting to work for such a name. ![]() Some fired and (MOST) others quit, or just didn't come back. ![]() In my few years with the company, dozens of Managers came and went. The restaurant is a union house so all those union workers were safe from the wrath that was the VP, CFO and VP of Marketing and Sales. but thats it, thats the only beautiful thing about working there. then you know how breathtaking the views are. The Sig Room was really a beautiful place to work at.
